Fastest Way to Reach Us
Use the form on this page for anything specific — a correction, a question about a product, a partnership inquiry — and include enough detail that we don't have to write back just to ask what you mean. A message that names the exact page, product, or claim in question gets a useful reply faster than a general one.
Correction Requests
If you've spotted an outdated price, a feature that's changed, or a claim in a review that no longer matches what you experienced with a product, tell us the exact page and what specifically looks wrong. We check corrections against the vendor's current offering or our own recent testing notes and update the article with a note on what changed. Corrections are usually the fastest category of message for us to act on, often within the same week.
Vendor & Partnership Inquiries
If you represent a security vendor and want a product considered for testing, or want to discuss an affiliate partnership, include your company name, the product in question, and a real point of contact on your team. We don't promise a score, a timeline, or even guaranteed inclusion in exchange for a partnership conversation — see our Disclosure page for the full policy on how that separation works in practice.
Press & Research Requests
If you're a journalist or researcher citing our testing methodology, a specific score, or our detection-rate data, tell us what you're working on and your deadline. We're generally quick to confirm exactly how a number was calculated or to point you toward the underlying testing behind a specific claim.
"Which Product Should I Use" Questions
We get a lot of these, and we'd rather answer directly than point you back to a page you've already read. Tell us what you're actually trying to protect — a single laptop, a small business with a handful of machines, a household with kids — and roughly what you're willing to pay, and we'll give you a specific answer rather than a generic "check the rating page."
Before You Send That Message
A few common questions are already answered elsewhere on the site: current pricing and what's bundled into each plan is covered in the individual review, "which product is right for my situation" is covered on our Best Antivirus by scenario pages, and exactly how scoring works is covered in full on Methodology. Checking there first sometimes gets you an answer faster than waiting on a reply.
What Happens to What You Send Us
Submitting the contact form sends us your name, email address, and message so we can reply to you directly. We don't add your email to a marketing list because you sent us a support message, and we don't share your information with the vendors we review or with any other third party. It's used strictly to respond to whatever you actually asked.
Response Times
We're a small, independent team, not a support center with round-the-clock coverage, so response times vary somewhat with volume. Corrections and urgent security questions typically get a reply within a few business days; everything else within a week. If your message is genuinely time-sensitive, say so directly and explain why, and we'll do our best to bump it up the queue.
Report a Site Bug
A broken link, a filter that isn't behaving correctly, or an image that won't load is a different kind of message than a content correction — it helps us if you say so explicitly rather than letting it get triaged as a pricing dispute. Include the exact page URL and, if you can, which browser or device you were using when it happened.
If Something Actually Helped
Not every message needs to be a problem report. If a specific review or comparison genuinely helped you make a decision, we read those too, and it's real, useful signal for deciding what to keep doing more of on this site.
